Rules
Rules and risk
What may not be on the ballot
- Rule 1. No impersonation of a real person, company, brand, project or public body (names, tickers, logos or likeness).
- Rule 2. No hateful content: nothing that attacks people for who they are.
- Rule 3. No illegal content, no sexual content involving minors, no doxxing, no calls to violence.
- Rule 4. No scams: no fake airdrops, no claims of partnerships, returns or utility that do not exist.
Every submitter confirms these rules when signing. A candidate that breaks one is removed from the ballot. Removals:
- happen only before the BALOT vote closes at 18:00 UTC, so a result never changes afterwards;
- stay visible on the board, struck through, with the rule number;
- make that candidate's votes count for nothing; its voters can move their vote.
There is no other manual control over the ballot: nobody can add votes, change counts or pick a winner.
Risk
- The ballot and everything pinned here is context. It does not set or move the price.
- Coins can go to zero. Nothing here promises returns, rewards or utility. Not financial advice.
- Votes can come from many wallets owned by one person. A high vote count is a popularity signal and nothing more.
- Coins launch on pump.fun, a third-party service, and trade there. BALOT does not run a market, hold funds or hold keys.
- A launched coin is created and owned by its proposer. BALOT does not endorse it.
